Trampoline!

So I bought a trampoline a few months ago because I thought it would make a good prop for a photo shoot. Well, I finally got to use it with Nicole. She was a great model for it because she really brings the energy and has a great smile. It was a lot of fun.

I don't usually show any behind the scenes pics from the princess shoots, but I figured I'd make an exception. This is just a video still, (forgive the poor quality). SO now I begin the post work, which usually takes many hours, but it's always a big payoff.

Ayanna

I had a fantastic shoot with Ayanna recently. She wasn't afraid to get down in the dirt. We worked really well together and I'm sure we'll be working together again soon.

Nicole is back

Nicole returned just 3 weeks later for another shoot, and I'm very glad she did. She's a lot of fun, very photogenic and has a great smile....everything a photographer needs.

Where'd all the Blogs GO??

There was a time when the blogs were thriving, especially among my fellow Disney artists......lots of art, lots of updates, lots of posts, lots of comments. And now they're dropping like flies. People don't post for 6 months and then they wonder why nobody is visiting their blog! Well, I'm doing my best to keep mine going. I've been keeping up this pace for almost 5 years now....and MY work requires coordinating a 5 or 6 hour block of time with a model, make up artist, hair stylists, assistants, etc.
Not to mention the hours I often put into the post work.
Come on guys and girls, you can scan a sketch once in a while, right? Kudos to those of you who post consistently.

Joy Joy Joy

Daphne Joy is probably becoming a familiar face here on my blog. She returned once again for our sixth shoot! She always brings the energy! We're a good team. I'm sure we'll be working together again soon.
